This Nightmare Kills Fascists - A Comics Anthology

Created by Eric Palicki

A horror comics anthology in the tradition of Creepy and Eerie, reflecting on world politics in 2017, as told by some of today's top talents. This Nightmare Kills Fascists is a 176-page black and white horror comics anthology filled with stories reflecting on the state of international politics in 2017. Editors Matt Miner and Eric Palicki envisioned a collection of stories giving contributors a chance to interpret the unease surrounding the current state of the world through the dark lens of horror.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Art and Story Production has wrapped!
over 6 years ago – Fri, Dec 22, 2017 at 03:31:10 PM

Matt and I have completed art and story production (following the work of the talented contributors and with special thanks to Cardinal Rae, the Lou Gehrig of letterers). What follows will be the relatively hasty post-production step of assembling the book, table of contents, and thank you pages (answer those surveys!), after which we'll be able to ship files to the printer and digital copies to YOU! Thanks for your patience.

Please bear with us as we work out a few kinks with BackerKit. We're working to manually add a handful of add-on rewards not captured by the BackerKit system, and we'll be re-sending surveys to a few of you who didn't initially get them.

On the subject of BackerKit, the book is still available through pre-order, if you're looking for extra copies or know anyone who missed out on the campaign.

Thanks again for your support, and have a happy holiday!

Surveys through BackerKit
over 6 years ago – Sat, Dec 09, 2017 at 01:09:02 PM

By now, everyone should have gotten an email from BackerKit with a link to completing your backer survey. Please fill out your surveys as soon you can, so Matt and I have all the info we need to finish assembling the book and get your rewards out to you. Please reach out if you have any questions.

BackerKit also allows you to purchase add-ons, in case there's swag you missed out on during the campaign, and anyone who might have missed out on the campaign completely can pre-order the book. If you know anyone in that latter category, feel free to pass along the pre-order link

Thanks again, everyone. More soon.

Surveys coming soon - from BackerKit!
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 05:02:05 PM

Hey all,

Just to let you know, we'll be doing reward fulfillment through BackerKit - it's a much better backend service than Kickstarter, and allows for product add-ons as do your surveys and check out (you can get extra copies of the books, some of the rewards that you may have missed out on, and even some new stuff that Eric and I threw up there!), plus gives you tracking on your shipments and allows you to change your address up until the rewards ship.

Just to let you know that it's coming soon, and as always, we're here for any questions.

Thanks!

A Long Overdue Update
over 6 years ago – Wed, Nov 15, 2017 at 11:29:57 PM

Hello, everyone!

Sorry about the radio silence, but we've been very busy behind the scenes at TNKF HQ ushering the last batch of stories toward completion. As of now, Matt and I are planning to roll out the book with our publishing partner A Wave Blue World at Emerald City Comicon. The goal was always to have the book ready for ECCC (my hometown show!) and we're still on schedule to debut at the con.

To answer a few questions that we've gotten since the end of the campaign, all reward details -- including those for sketch requests and script reviews -- will be available when we send surveys, which will be coming over the next two weeks.

Additionally, we are currently working to make the book available via the direct market after  we've gotten the book into hands of our backers, so if you missed the campaign, you'll still be able to get the book!

Thanks for your patience!

over 6 years ago – Fri, Aug 25, 2017 at 02:15:36 PM

Hey Everyone!

Both Eric and I are involved in a new Kickstarter comics anthology project to benefit Planned Parenthood - a cause and an organization that we both strongly believe in.

The project is called Mine! and it features some of the most massive names in comics like Neil Gaiman, Gerard Way, Gail Simone, and OF COURSE, Eric Palicki and Matt Miner.

Please check it out here at the link!
